For full darkness a blockout roller blind is usually the best choice, since the fabric stops effectively all light and the blind sits neat against the glass. Where you want the darkest possible result we can add side channels to close the light gaps along the frame. For a softer look that still darkens the room, blockout curtains are a good alternative, and we talk through both at your measure.

Vertical blinds are one of the best options for sliding doors and tall windows, because the louvres draw to the side and rotate so you can open a clear walkway or angle the slats for light and privacy. Yes. Most of our blinds can be made as motorised blinds, controlled by remote, wall switch, app or voice and powered by battery, mains or solar. Motorisation is a popular upgrade for large, high or hard to reach windows and gives a clean, cordless finish. We help you choose the right control and power option at quote stage.

Yes. We make and install blinds to the Australian safety standard for corded internal window coverings, with chains tensioned and secured to the wall so there are no loose loops within a child’s reach. For nurseries and play areas we usually recommend a cordless or motorised blind, which removes the cord completely for the safest result.
