Curtains that open with the morning, on their own
Quiet, motorised curtain tracks you control by remote, app or voice, perfect for tall void windows, wide spans and the moments you'd rather not get up. Made to measure and expertly installed.
The luxury of curtains that move themselves
Motorised curtains run on a quiet electric track, so you open and close them with a remote, your phone, a wall switch or your voice, no pulling, no cords, no reaching across the furniture. One tap glides a whole wall of curtains smoothly into place.
Set them on a schedule to wake the house with the sunrise and close at dusk for privacy, even when you are away. It is a touch of everyday luxury that also makes tall, wide and hard-to-reach windows genuinely practical, and with no cords it is a safer choice for families.

Common questions about motorised curtains
How do I control motorised curtains?
Motorised curtains can be controlled with a handheld remote, a wall switch, a smartphone app or a smart home assistant such as Google or Amazon. You can open and close them by voice, on a timer or as part of a scene, so the curtains can wake the house with the morning light and close at night on their own. We set it all up and show you how it works before we leave.
Are motorised curtains noisy?
Modern curtain motors are quiet, gliding the fabric along the track with a smooth, low sound rather than a loud motor noise. This makes them comfortable in bedrooms and living rooms, including on a schedule first thing in the morning. You can hear a motor running at your free measure so you know exactly what to expect in your own home.
Are motorised curtains good for very high or void windows?
Yes, this is one of the best uses for them. Tall void windows, stairwell windows and wide living room glass are hard to reach by hand, so motorisation is often the most practical way to use curtains there at all. A quiet motor moves the fabric reliably day after day, and we size the track and the stack to suit the opening so it all works cleanly.
How are motorised curtains powered?
They can run on a rechargeable battery, mains power or a small solar panel. Battery motors are easy to add without wiring, mains power suits new builds and renovations where a point can be run to the window, and solar works well on bright windows. We help you choose the right power option at your measure based on the window and how the curtains will be used.
Can I motorise S-fold or blockout curtains?
Yes. Motorisation works across our curtain range, and it pairs especially well with S-fold curtains because the smooth track lets the wave glide open and closed. You can also motorise blockout curtains for a dark room that opens at the touch of a button, or layer a motorised sheer and blockout on a double track.
What happens in a power outage?
Battery and solar powered curtains keep working through a power outage because they do not depend on mains power. Mains powered curtains will pause while the power is out, but they can usually still be moved manually so you can still use them, and they resume normal operation once the power returns. We explain the options for your chosen setup at quote stage.
Do you measure and install motorised curtains across Brisbane and the Gold Coast?
Yes. We look after the whole job from a free in home measure through to installation and setup across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the surrounding suburbs. Our team fits the track, pairs the motor to your remote, app or smart home and shows you how it works before we leave. You can see the areas we cover on the locations page.
How much do motorised curtains cost?
The price depends on the track length, the fabric, the heading style and the motor and power option you choose. Because every set is made to measure and the control setup varies from home to home, the fairest way to give you a figure is a free measure and quote, with no obligation, where we look at your actual windows and talk through the options.
